Hi All,

I just want to make a quick formal announcement in regards to my recent decision to step down my involvement with the Pimpster website.

For those of you that know me, you'll know that I have helped out Carl with the running of the site during the past few years, and I've loved every minute of it - doing feature shoots, going to shows and meeting models and other car show contacts.

However, I feel the time is right for me to now free myself up to concentrate more on my own photography projects.

I have a big passion for photography and I've recently started to invest in new lights and other equipment to enable me to offer a serious photography service - both to models who I already know and have worked with previously, as well as other photography styles away from what I'm already associated with, such as fashon, events and lifestyle portraits.

I want to make it clear that I have not fallen out with anyone at Pimpster, and that I am still willing to help with the site where I can, but I am stepping down from the day to day running of the site, where I'm sure Carl (CK1) will continue to do a good job without as much involvement from me.

I'm still planning to be at most of the major car shows this season (off my own back and not necessarily with Pimpster), and have already seen some of you at Santa Pod for the Fast Show last week, and I've told Carl that I am still willing to help out on Pimpster feature shoots if he wants me to, so I am not disappearing completely - whether this is good news or bad news, I don't know??? Laughing

I wish to thank Carl for allowing me to be such a big part of the site - I have no regrets from getting involved all those years ago, and it has been a great fun experience for me, meeting some great people along the way, and hopefully I will continue to have fun connected with Pimpster in the future, despite the step down in my involvement.

I hope this announcement clears up any rumours people may have heard, as I know from the Fast Show that word was already getting out that I had 'quit' Pimpster, so I wanted it to be know the reasons why I am stepping down my involvement in the site and that Carl intends Pimpster to still continue on as per normal.

I want to wish you all the best in your onward journey Mark.

As you know I am quite new to the scene and you have always said hello and offered advice when I have seen you at the shows. You have also purposefully appeared in the background of some of my pictures Rolling Eyes

You have obviously had a big impact on Pimpster and no doubt will continue to do so even if in a smaller capacity (does that make sense)

Glad to hear you will still be at the shows in the future but if you get in any more of my shots I will break your legs.
