Well finally got myself a ride, shame it isn't a car but it's a little mini moto.
Cost me £90, second hand, used once
Spec:
Engine:
2 stroke
1 cylinder
49cc
Air cooled
2.5kw (3.3bhp) @ 8700 rpm
Zhe Jiang Lian Mei Carb
Electronic ignition
NGK B9 ES spark plug
Frame:
Welded high stress steel tubes
Brakes:
Disc brakes all around
Wheels/Tyres:
Light alloy wheels with 90/65/6.5 slicks
I will get some pictures up asap.
Started to strip the panels, rub them down, primnered and ready for spraying in Toyota White.
Hoping to get a proper silencer as its very very loud
Keep checking for updates
That's how it came minus the de-stickering on the way home from Reading
Now stripped, rubbed down, primered bits.
First coat of paint on the mud flaps but need to rub them down again as there are some flaws and cracks.
UPDATED!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I have taken off the front wheel and separated the disk, the wheel is being rubbed down ready for some white paint or possibly black!
Now the body panels have been rubbed down, primered and wet and dryed. Some were painted but had cracks and flaws so rubbed those down and all are now awaiting primer again, then the paint and laquer!
See it soon at cruises in its glory.
Hopefully going to get the seat retrimmed and a Powerflow exhaust system which is quiet until high revs and have a massive silencer then onto proper tuning goodies. _________________
